It's been going on for weeks. One of my Youtube subscriptions won't shut up about it. The local news is talking about it, even though it isn't local. It's Operation: "Occupy Wall Street" and it is complete bullcrap.
Started on the infamous "/b/" of 4chan, this movement started out with good intentions. Unfortunately, some of the information was leaked to the rest of the world, including ignorant, Facebook-savvy suburban soccer moms. And we all know how things end up with ignorant, Facebook-savvy suburban soccer moms.
But that's not why it's garbage. People are using their "sick days" their jobs give them to go and express opinions to people who don't care about opinions. People began swarming the streets of New York when they should be working for that very little pay they are complaining about.
It gets worse. Celebrities like that attention-whore Michael Moore appear among the street of Wall to "win over the hearts of the majority." He is only there to promote his movie "Capitalism: A Love Story." After this, I wouldn't be surprised if he made a sequel. The celebrities are not here to be on your side; they are here for you to be on their side. Politicians & businessmen are doing the same thing, but being more effective against the sheep called America. "These protesters might be right," they'd say, but what they really mean is "I'm kissing the ass of the American People."
